It was amazing having our MACA alumni back on campus for our Spirit Week Pep Rally: Battle of the Bands! 🎶

Alumni enjoyed a special reception where they mixed, mingled, and reminisced about their MACA days — while nibbling on some good food and snapping selfies with Mr. Autrey! 📸 A short meeting was also held to discuss ways our alumni can get involved and stay connected with our school today.

🔥🎶 MACA Pep Rally: Battle of the Bands Edition! 🎸💙❤️💛

Friday’s pep rally was one for the books! Our students rocked the gym with unbeatable energy as each class battled it out for the title of Spirit Stick Champion! 🤘🎤

🎉 Congratulations to our Seniors for taking home the Spirit Stick and winning the remix version of Musical Chairs! 🪑🔥

We also had a blast watching classes face off in the hilarious “Snatch Your Wig” competition! 😂

The Step Team and Dance Team absolutely rocked the floor with jaw-dropping performances that had everyone dancing in their seats! 💃👏

The teachers came out on top in the volleyball tournament 🏐, and we were thrilled to have several MACA alumni join us to enjoy the fun and school spirit. 💫

This year, several of our talented MACA students participated in the Festival of Words, a Cultural Arts Collective that strives to inspire creative expression and promote literacy throughout St. Landry Parish and Acadiana. Students from across the region competed in writing contests featuring advertisements, multimedia projects, poetry, and fiction pieces.
